Implementing Rich Media Overlays to Enhance Brand Engagement
Advertisers are looking for new ways to make video ad campaigns more effective. By providing rich media overlays, advertisers can increase brand engagement. At NAB 2011, Greg Philpott from mDialog explained that delivering interactive or rich media synchronized to commercial breaks allows for a more interactive and engaging overlay experience for the consumer. Not only are these ads highly targeted in real time, but also they may enhance the feature content. Overlays can be placed in video discretely or provide an immersive, interactive experience.
