Identifying Video on a Frame by Frame Basis
How can you know exactly what a consumer is watching without adding additional tags and data? The answer is to fingerprint each frame of the media. According to Don Gordon from Bulldog United, that is exactly what his company does. Using frame by frame fingerprinting technology, you can identify video content with watermarks which is a very good thing because content distributors and broadcasters may not allow or pass watermarking signals through their systems. Bulldog united provides a fingerprinting data stream which is less than 10 kbps that can be used to identify exactly where the viewer has seen content.
