Automatic Content Detection and Monitoring for Broadcasters
If you are an advertiser, content producer, distributor or regulator, you will want to verify if your content was aired and detect recurring media items, such as ads or promos. At IBC, Robert Priscu of Actus explained that regardless of whether the channel is local or remote, with automatic content detection, a single reference point is given to automatically track content on all channels. Previously recorded media is also scanned. By creating fingerprints from an external file or from broadcat, a simple single person operated platform can deliver accurate reporting tools, publish reports, and deliver visual proofing. AdWatch can be implemented at a local site or monitor channels from remote locations, and will send a real-time notification each time a commercial is played on any channel.
