Bringing the Social Web Experience to Televisions
Viewers and consumers want to be able to connect with their favorite social networking sites. Cloud-based interactive platforms develop a hybrid environment with mobile interaction with the TV set and the broadcast point of transmission. At IBC, James Neufeld of never.no explained that cloud-based interactivity suites can provide a flexible platform for broadcasters to give viewers access to social sites like Facebook and Twitter. Viewer polls, voting, chats, and social media sites to the screen can be bundled into one package. Broadcasters can use this ability to obtain viewer interest and deploy, build and maintain these interactive services across any mass media platform.
