Customizing Hospitality TV Systems – Adding Valuable Unique Features and Services

Entertainment TV systems are important for the hospitality industry to build customer loyalty. They must offer services that they cannot find in other places such as customized in-room features. Damien Lucas from Anevia explained to me at the IBC trade show that to create effective hospitality TV systems, they need to use open systems that allow for the addition and customization of new features and services. Open hospitality TV systems can be more easily integrated with other systems such as hotel services and billing systems. Hospitality systems should also be able to provide for more advanced services such as multiple screen viewing (such as also viewing TV in the bathroom). A good hospitality TV system can provide multiple opportunities for branding such as welcome screens and TV channel branding.
