Creating Searchable Metadata with Frame by Frame Metadata Mapping
With automated frame-based metadata creation and integrated online video publishing, the task of content mapping is much simpler. At IBC, Phil Jackson and Mike Knaisch of Front Porch Digital explained that you can create metadata maps with advanced technologies such as facial recognition, scene classification, speech recognition, natural language processing, closed-caption time alignment and ad break detection. From there, the video content can be published with tools that determine how, where and when content should be delivered. Other tools may be used to further increase revenue streams such as audience monitoring, which can be used to determine which content, channels and schedules will produce the best results.
