Simple Video Content Ingestion – Automatic Capture and Conversion

Getting content into a TV broadcasters networks is a critical process for some TV broadcasters. Michael Zolotosky from Cinegy explained to me at the IBC trade show that to be effective, content ingestion systems should be simple, able to be started automatically, and remotely controlled. The ingestion system should operate on multiple types of systems (cross platform), automatically detect and dynamically adjust (transform) video images, and efficiently manage the transfers using adaptive streaming processes.
