Android Tablet Computer with Television Viewing Capability
Tablet computers need some key features to allow users to watch quality TV programs. Ester Koo demonstrated to me at the CES show how eLocity’s new Android tablets have been designed with some key features that allow for high quality television viewing. The tablet was designed for the upcoming version of Android 3.0 (Honeycomb) which enables tablets to access and process rich media (such as streaming movies in Flash media). Versions of the tablet can have up to 256 GBytes of memory allowing it to store many hours of video programming. It uses NVIDIA dual core Tegra 2 processor which allows the device to process video and other processes without slowing down. It also includes HDMI outputs up to 1080p allowing the device to be directly connected to high definition television viewing devices.
