Using All-In-One IPTV Servers for Smaller IPTV Projects
The ability for a smaller telco to set up an all inclusive IPTV server system is key for handling smaller projects. At IBC, Konstantin Emelyanov from NetUP explained at all-in-one IPTV Servers that include IPTV middleware with billing capabilities, DVB to IP gateway, a VoD server and video storage, can be used to set up solutions for educational institutions, IPTV labs, show rooms and hospitality services. The NetUP IPTV Combine 4x can be used for providing services in the hotels with special features such as welcome messages on guest check-in, messages from reception, hotel bill previews, express check out and room status(clean, dirty, ready to check-in guests) in addition to providing pay TV and VoD service.
