Video Cameras with Integrated Multiple Stream Format Broadcasting Capability
Broadcasters and people need a simple way to install and setup high quality video cameras that broadcast through the Internet. Deepa B. from MCN Technologies explained to me at the CES show that integrated video cameras can be setup quickly that do not require extra equipment to purchase, setup, and manage. The integrated video camera combines the camera, media compression, and streaming server in one device. The MCN video camera uses H.264 HD media compression which is streams live over the Internet using HTTP streaming protocol. The camera can simultaneously provide streams with multiple resolutions that includes 720p (1280 by 720), VGA (640 by 480), QVGA (320 by 240), and SQVGA (160 by 120). This allows for viewing on multiple types of devices such as HD displays or mobile devices.
