NetFlix and other Internet TV Companies are Building a Better Internet
Numerous people have commented to me that NetFlix and other Internet TV providers such as Vudu and Amazon Video are now using a major amount of bandwidth on the Internet. As I understand it, it costs an Internet TV - OTT Provider approximately 2 to 3 cents for bandwidth to deliver a movie through the Internet. With over 23 million NetFlix viewers consuming about 10 hours of video per month, this seems to imply that NetFlix and other Internet TV providers are paying for the growth of the Internet.
