Viewer Choice TV Advertising

What happens when you put viewers in charge of the advertising they see? The answer can be more attentive viewers, better response rates, and ultimately, higher sales for the advertiser. This increased value to the advertiser means the advertiser will be willing to pay more for their ads because the conversion rate is higher than traditional broadcast models.

Internet TV service providers such as are already allowing users to select when and how much ads they are willing to view. Another key option is to let the viewer setup a profile on the types of ads they are interested in seeing (a viewer advertising profile). This profile may be used to select which ads and when they are provided to the viewer.
